* BEA-India hereby declares and affirms that all funds received, including but not limited to contributions, sponsorships or participation fees (as applicable), shall be collected, accounted for and utilized strictly in accordance with the applicable laws of India, including but not limited to the provisions of the Income-tax Act, 1961, the Companies Act, 2013, and any other relevant statutory regulations.

It is further declared that:

All contributions, unless expressly defined otherwise in writing are voluntary in nature and do not create any ownership, partnership, or equity rights in BEA-India.
Funds received shall be used solely for the stated objectives of the initiative/event and shall not be diverted for any unlawful or unauthorized purposes.
Proper books of accounts, records and supporting documentation shall be maintained in accordance with applicable legal and accounting standards, and shall be subject to audit, if required under law.
BEA-India shall ensure adherence to all applicable taxation requirements, including deduction and payment of taxes, issuance of receipts and regulatory filings, as may be required.
In case of any foreign contributions, such funds shall be accepted and utilized strictly in compliance with the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 2010 (FCRA) and related rules, wherever applicable.
Participation, contribution, or association with BEA-India shall not be construed as creating any legal obligation beyond the terms expressly agreed upon in a separate written agreement, where applicable.
