A new channel between Slovak, Eurasian and BRICS+ business communities, with technology transfer and new market opportunities already in focus.

The BRICS Entrepreneurs Alliance (BEA) is expanding its international network with a new Global Partner: S.K.E.A, the Slovak-Eurasian Chamber of Commerce. On 28 August 2026, the BEA Global Council approved SKEA’s status, followed by the issuance of a Certificate of Global Partnership.

For BEA, this brings a direct connection to the Slovak business community and SKEA’s expertise across Eurasian markets. For SKEA, it creates a practical channel to link Slovak companies with partners and opportunities across BRICS+.

From a new partnership to a working agenda

The partnership has already moved from institutional recognition to practical business discussions. In September, representatives of BEA and SKEA held their first working meeting following SKEA’s recognition as a Global Partner.

Two directions took centre stage:

- Technology and high-tech products, with potential for future licensed local production. The focus is not on one-off exports, but on technology transfer, local partners and longer-term industrial cooperation.

- Environmental technologies, including solutions for water and soil pollution, waste-to-energy, biochar production and carbon credits.

“The partnership between S.K.E.A. and the BRICS Entrepreneurs Alliance opens new opportunities for establishing direct connections between entrepreneurs, companies and organizations from Slovakia, Europe and the BRICS countries.

For us, this is not simply a formal cooperation, but a long-term platform for building mutual trust, developing concrete business connections and implementing joint projects.

We believe that sustainable international cooperation always begins with mutual respect, trust and a willingness to create real opportunities for our partners.”

Marek Vasyl Malik, President of the Slovak-Eurasian Chamber of Commerce (S.K.E.A.)

What the partnership can mean for business

The first discussions already point towards a model that goes beyond finding individual buyers. Instead, the focus is on finding the right partners to bring a technology into a new market, and, where there is a strong business case, develop local production. This turns market entry into the starting point for longer-term cooperation rather than a one-off transaction:

Technology → local partner → technology transfer → potential localization → joint project → market entry

That is the practical value of the Global Partner model - turning an institutional link into real commercial opportunities.

With SKEA joining the BEA network, new channels are opening in both directions: connecting Slovak and Eurasian business networks with companies and opportunities across BRICS+.
