
Representatives of the Indian and Russian sides of the BRICS Entrepreneurs Alliance held a working meeting in New Delhi on 4 December with the Honourable MSME Minister of India, Shri Jitan Ram Manjhi.
During the meeting, the Alliance delegation presented its strategic goals and priorities for 2026. The discussion focused on the need to build a trusted business environment, support direct partner matching between entrepreneurs, and create practical frameworks for cross border cooperation.
The Minister emphasized that initiatives of this nature are highly relevant for the development of small and medium sized enterprises. He highlighted the importance of horizontal business links, broader cooperation formats, and access to new international markets as key drivers for sustainable SME growth.
Shri Jitan Ram Manjhi noted that alliances connecting entrepreneurs across countries help move cooperation beyond isolated contacts and toward long term partnerships. He expressed full support for the BRICS Entrepreneurs Alliance and confirmed the readiness of the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises to provide assistance and facilitation within its mandate.
Both sides underlined the importance of continued dialogue and practical follow up aimed at expanding cooperation between entrepreneurs from India, Russia, and other partner countries.
